Luisa Marie Darvish Ghane
"Chamber music means especially much to me. Playing music together and starting new projects excites me and makes up most of my musical career.“
What afftected Luisa most on her path to becoming a classical guitarist and lutenist was her education at a music school near her hometown Leipzig and at the renowned Yehudi Menuhin School in England, which prepared her for the studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. For six years she studied with Prof. Olaf Van Gonnissen and obtained her master's degree with top marks. During that time she won two third prizes in international competitions with her Duo Decacordio (Ilona Glas – violin) and her Guitar Duo Reichelt & Nissen (Johann Jacob Nissen) and published the CD Debut with the latter in 2015. In June 2017 her second CD Holberg Unplugged feat. two guitars and two cellos was released, with her quartet MIRROR STRINGS, which consists of Johann Jacob Nissen and the cellists Philipp Wentrup and Samuel Selle. Luisa was engaged in different projects as a soloist and chamber musician with orchestras, singers and instrumentalists: from the Carulli concerto in e-minor with the baroque orchestra of her university and the chamber opera Der Kaiser von Atlantis by Viktor Ullmann and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with the Neue Philharmonie München to the opera Dido and Aeneas by Purcell with the Hamburger Symphoniker. Luisa played concerts in Germany, Austria, Italy, England and Switzerland and will perform among other places in Hamburg, Zurich, Görlitz and Wiesbaden in the upcoming season.
